Mini Split Error Code List

  • Pioneer Error Codes and Meanings
  • Carrier Error Codes and Meanings
  • Cooper and Hunter Error Codes and Meanings
  • Daikin Error Codes and Meanings
  • Mini split units are nice to have and usually very reliable heating and cooling units.

Unfortunately, errors can happen, which is usually displayed on the indoor wall unit.

This error can be looked up in a manual to see what the meaning is.

For example, an E1 error code on a Pioneer Mini Split means there is a problem with the Indoor/Outdoor unit’s communication.
Mini Split Error Code List and Meanings
Often error codes can be manufacturer-specific, and sometimes, different models can have different errors codes.

The best way to troubleshoot any code is to have the manual for your unit.

Sometimes finding a manual can be difficult, so here we list the known error codes for big-name mini split manufacturers.

Keep in mind that there may be differences between models, but most of the codes should match.

we have a Rovsun 12000 BTU, 230v–shows “FY” code, cools only (NO HEAT), seller provides NO manual, seems “FY” is also an anomaly here as well.

My air temp shuts down 6-8 times in 24 hr period, power light comes on temperature stays light up but 3 mins later it comes back on as normal. It only started since I turned on the heat and only use to be once a day but now it’s 6-8 times a day or every 3-4 hrs.

you might want to check the batteries on your remote. Highest temp read is 88 degrees. Seems your remote is stuck on 88 for that reason? just guessing…

I have a d2 code too on my pioneer split unit and cannot find out what it means. I spoke with a technician who told me he doesn’t know either. Did you happen to find out what it means?

I also have this same d2 code on mine. Did you ever figure out what it means?

My two indor units show an F1 error, it is brand new out of the box and had an ac guy put the vacuum pu,p and all the connections, we tested all the power and grounds, we looked at the mother board and could not find any loose connections.
