How To Find the Fault Code on a Daikin Mini Split System
If you have a Daikin mini split that is not working, the fault codes can be pulled using the remote control.

A flashing green light often appears on a Daikin unit when there is a problem.

The remote control Cancel button is used to pull the code from the unit.

Once the code is known, the problem can be troubleshot and fixed.

The Cancel button on the remote control is held for 5-6 seconds until a 00 is shown on the display.

Once in the mode, the Cancel button will cycle through the codes giving short beeps for non-errors and a long beep for the problem error.

This has been tested and works with L-Series, Q-Series, Cobra models, and more.

    Daikin split unit running after Orange light blinking unity shutdown

    After a few days of the thermostats being set at 50 and mostly in activity, the green light blinks and the system will not work. Cycling the power at the CB panel solves the problem and the system works fine
